Negotiations Watch: Commercials - JPC to Meet with Members

We don’t know about you, but we can’t ever remember this happening. The JPC - the employers group that negotiates against SAG and AFTRA on the Commericials Contract, is actually attending meetings in New York and Los Angeles that are open to members. That means that members will be able to directly to the negotiators on both teams.
This is an opportunity not to be missed.
IMPORTANT SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE
COMMERCIALS CONTRACT 2008
SCREEN ACTORS GUILD AND THE AMERICAN FEDERATION OF TELEVISION AND RADIO ARTISTS, ALONG WITH THE JOINT POLICY COMMITTEE (JPC) ANNOUNCE EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS IN NEW YORK AND LOS ANGELES REGARDING THE BOOZ ALLEN HAMILTON STUDY ON THE COMMERCIALS CONTRACTS TO BE HELD IN ADVANCE OF THE START OF COMMERCIALS NEGOTIATIONS PREPARATION
All paid-up SAG and AFTRA members in good standing with their Unions, industry representatives and members of the JPC are urged to attend this important Booz Allen Hamilton Educational Meeting in New York or Los Angeles.
Join SAG, AFTRA and the JPC to discuss issues that may directly impact future commercial work performed under the SAG and AFTRA Television and Radio Recorded Commercials Contracts.
These meetings provide the members of SAG, AFTRA, the JPC and other industry representatives a special opportunity to hear the results of the Booz Allen Hamilton Study and participate in a group discussion following the presentation. Participation will be limited only by fire rules.
PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ATTEND THE MEETING IN YOUR AREA.
