Member Charges “Get Your Money” is a Sham, SAG Denies
According to Variety, Eric Hughes has filed a misconduct complaint against union president Alan Rosenberg and Treasurer Connie Stevens, among others, charging that the union has lied to members about the $93 million in unclaimed residuals the union is holding, and that the program started to get that money to members, called Get Your Money, is a sham. Variety quotes general counsel Duncan Crabtree-Ireland as calling the charges “bogus” and saying SAG’s conduct has been “exemplary.”
The Hughes complaint goes to the National Board for resolution.
